Location: Beneath silver birch trees bounding along the ground between the heather.

Date: 24/8/10

Number: 2

Name: Robbie Munro

Details:

Spotted a few times between 9th and 13th August 2010 whilst on holiday in my family log cabin at Lochanhully. The squirrels had lovely bright reddish brown fur and were speedy across the ground before vanishing behind the trees. I've holidayed here in the same week every year and spotted them a few times. However, this year was very memorable as one came right past my window whilst I was having my breakfast and I stopped with my spoon still in my mouth, not to startle the squirrel and gaze an extra second longer. Fantastic creatures.
