Red Squirrel of the Highlands

View Sightings

Here you can see where red squirrels have been recorded in the Highlands.  You can find out when and where the record was made.  These records have been sent to us since 2006, either through the Highland red squirrel website or by sending in postcards.  You can now use this website to view these sightings.

By using the focus buttons (plus or minus) you can zoom into any area.  If you would like to know more about a particular record, simply click pointer and it will reveal further information.  As you can see there are many areas of the Highlands where we have no records so please do send in your records. Have fun!
