Cairngorms event this weekend!

06 April 2011 by juliet

Come and join us to 'hunt' out some Springtime red squirrels in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park!

It is free and the aim is to try to get more people undertaking surveys of red squirrels.  This is a good training opportunity for school leavers and students.

When?  Saturday 9 April 2011 at 10am at the Uath Lochan Car Park in Inshriach, just south of Aviemore.  Until lunchtime - you can come for an hour or three, which ever is best for you.  Just turn up, no need to book!

Who?  Wayne Fitter of Kingussie will lead the day.  Suitable for adults and young people over the age of 16 years.

What? To show how squirrel surveying works and to try out Level 1 and Level 2 methods.

Bring? You will get a free survey pack, all you have to bring is a packed lunch, outdoor clothing and binoculars if you have them.

HOPE TO SEE YOU THIS SATURDAY!
