"Me and Rachel made a house with a mouse and a snail, and they slept on moss"  Mia aged 6

"The bushcraft was great fun and we learned what plants were all right to eat.  And we cooked onion bread under a fire and then ate it."  Rachel aged 8

"The event was a great success and thanks to Katy Martin, Highland Council Ranger and to Suzann Barr of Abriachan Forest Trust.  You just can't keep Suzann away from forests and fires (note: not forest fires)!  We learned so much and there is nothing like a sunny Spring day out in the forest with a lovely camp-fire to sit around!"  Juliet aged 41
